Man City’s Ambition: Securing Haaland, the Phenomenal 450-Goal Scorer

Spending 60 million Euros to buy Haaland from Dortmund in the summer of 2022 is definitely a bargain for Man City. In his first season, the Norwegian striker became the top scorer in the Premier League and C1 Cup, contributing greatly to The Citizens’ treble victory.

Specifically, Calcio Mercato newspaper reported that the defending Champions League champion is interested in signing a contract with AC Milan prodigy Francesco Camarda. What makes this young talent so attractive to big names like Man City is his elite goal-scoring talent.

Statistics from the Italian newspaper show that this striker has reached the milestone of 450 goals, specifically scoring 483 goals in just 86 matches before turning 13. Average performance is 5.6 goals/match. Most recently, Camarda became the youngest player in history to score in all three U19 tournaments [League, Cup and UEFA Youth League]

Not only at the club level, Francesco Camarda also proved his talent in the Italian youth team. Accordingly, Camarda represented his country competing in 3 different age groups. Here, he scored 12 goals in 19 appearances for the Azzurri’s youth teams.
