Taylor Swift’s birth hospital gives ‘newborn era’ bracelets to parents who welcomed babies on December 13

Taylor Swift’s hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania, celebrated her 34th birthday in a special way this year. To mark the occasion, Reading Hospital – Tower Health, where Swift was born on December 13, distributed handmade friendship bracelets to parents whose babies were born on the same date.

A total of 11 sets of parents received these bracelets, which bore the inscription “newborn era,” symbolizing the beginning of their babies’ lives on Swift’s birthday. Additionally, around 60 bracelets were shared within the hospital, including with families in the maternity ward, NICU families, and staff members who are fans of Swift.

Jessica Belzer, the public relations manager for Reading Hospital – Tower Health, mentioned that the bracelets were a fun way to commemorate the shared birthdays and provide families with a keepsake for their baby books.

Dr. K. Ashley Brandt, the obstetrics section chief at Reading Hospital, expressed that the friendship bracelets were a lighthearted way to celebrate the special connection between Taylor Swift and the newborns. She hoped that Swift would approve of the hospital’s gesture in honoring her legacy and their mutual birthday.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift herself celebrated her birthday in New York City, surrounded by friends, including Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, and Sabrina Carpenter. Fans were particularly intrigued by Swift’s “Midnights”-themed dress, which sparked speculation about a potential new album.

Although Travis Kelce, Swift’s rumored partner, was absent from her birthday celebration, many speculated that his absence was due to his Kansas City Chiefs’ practice schedule ahead of an upcoming game against the New England Patriots.
