Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane have formed the most improbable of friendships, and talkSPORT applauds them.
Due to his global fame, the world’s most famous footballer has been in Al Nassr since January and has already established himself as the club’s main attraction.
Fans have enjoyed seeing their interactions on and off the field.
Following a successful summer transfer window, he is now joined by another world-class player, Sadio Mane, who joined from Bayern Munich.
Despite just playing together for a few months, the two have formed an unlikely relationship.
Al Nassr’s key attacking outlets are Ronaldo and Mane, who frequently combine on the field.
The connection on the field is obvious, but the bond off the field really shows through as the two regularly smile and hug each other while celebrating their accomplishments.
One video displays an especially enthusiastic embrace, while another reveals their mischievous side.
Ronaldo was observed shouting instructions to his teammates from the sidelines during a 4-0 win over Al-Shabab, which Mane found amusing. The Senegal international then rose up and pushed his new friend closer to the technical area, which made Ronaldo laugh as he realized the bench thought his passion was humorous.
“Love their chemistry,” one admirer said on X, formerly Twitter. Another remarked, “It’s the bromance we didn’t know we needed.”
Another video that has gone viral shows the pair celebrating, with Mane appearing to urge Ronaldo to kiss him on the cheek and the captain joyfully complying.
And given their different Premier League allegiances, this may come as a surprise to some.
Mane is best known for being a major member of Liverpool’s Premier League-winning team and having Merseyside in his veins, whereas Ronaldo is a Manchester United legend.
The 38-year-old spent two seasons at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals, including three against Liverpool.
However, the two appear to be very different persons.
